Why I wrote this story:

While I researched scarecrows to write the series, I was shocked at the 3,ooo year history and styles of scarecrows. It took less than 5 minutes to decide to put the short version of information in a children’s book. And touch on how a child can make their own scarecrow – with or without Granny Nel.
