What if long, deep scratches appeared on your town’s brand new border wall. Night after night. All along the wall. They are crimson, like blood.
Along with the scratches come cries. Long, woeful cries. Eerie cries. Cries that can’t be identified by any of the townspeople. Cries that could be human or animal.
At the same time, bodies appear on the outside of the wall directly behind the bloody scratches. They are all strangers to the townspeople of Heaven’s Gate. Each body has been mauled to death. Are they the marauders? Or are the marauders doing the mauling? Who or what is mangling them?
